Cosmetic surgery continues to be one of the most popular types of surgery for individuals traveling abroad. From rhinoplasty (nose surgery) to tummy tucks to reconstructive breast surgeries to a full cosmetic face lift, thread face lift to acupuncture face lift techniques, men and women around the globe continue to seek the best face lift, cosmetic eyelid surgery for a more youthful appearance, the best in breast augmentation or breast reduction, and of course, affordable cosmetic surgical procedures that are also safe, effective and provide desired results. Medical destinations in India and Thailand are leaders in cosmetic plastic surgical procedures.

Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery removes excess skin from upper or lower eyelids. In the United States, eyelid procedures cost between $1,500-$7,000. Medical travelers to India may enjoy lower costs, on average $1,000 and to Yanhee Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, where patients can get the procedure done around $700- $1,400.

Surgery of the nose (rhinoplasty) is one of the most popular procedures done in cosmetic reconstructions. In the United States, rhinoplasty procedures may cost between $3,000-$8,000, though in Thailand, the same procedures may be performed for roughly $900-$1,500. Costs in India are around $1,000.

A face-lift, or rhytidectomy treatment or procedure helps improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck area. In the United States, the average cost of a full facelift can range between $6,000 and $15,000 but as high as $25,000. Indian facilities like Fortis Hospital in New Delhi, India and locations in Thailand offer costs run a tenth of fees charged in the US and the UK.

Today, global economic crisis has prompted older individuals to hang onto their jobs instead of opting for early retirement. Unfortunately, those in their 40s, 50s and even 60s must compete with those in their 20s and 30s for jobs. While older individuals may have experience and dependability behind them, managers the world over often prefer that younger individuals hold down the front lines, at least in high-visibility career fields. Cosmetic surgical facelifts are on the rise around the globe in direct response to this growing pressure and competition.

Any facelift, or rhytidectomy, treatment or procedure is considered cosmetic surgery. It is generally sought as a procedure to help improve the visible signs of aging in the face and neck area. A facelift may help to improve sagging; creases, and loss of muscle tone, as well as reduce the appearance of loose skin or fatty deposits in the jaw or neck area. While a facelift offers many years of benefits, it is not designed, nor can it, halt the aging process.

Unfortunately, the  average cost of a full facelift in the United States or Britain can range between $6,000 and $15,000 but some may be as much as $25,000! However, in South Africa, South America or Asia, the same procedure typically costs less than $3,000.

The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland offers year-round luxury for cosmetic surgery patients at huge savings, as does CTG Healthcare Group in Izmir, Turkey. This is not due to lack of skill, training or certification, but different health system management that also lacks the need for outrageous malpractice insurance.

Natural as well as not-so-natural treatments for skin care and therapies, techniques and procedures to tighten the skin, enhance appearance and reduce unsightly wrinkles encourage a multibillion dollar industry. In addition to the benefits of daily exercise, adequate hydration, a balanced and nutritious diet and “youth in a bottle.”

But did you know that there are facilities that encourage more natural ways to maintain a useful and vigorous appearance?  Ayurveda, Yoga, massage, and anti aging skin and body treatments help individuals maintain healthy skin, the glow of youth, and inner as well as outer health at anti aging and medical health spas without resorting to expensive full facelift or body lift techniques and procedures.

Some of the most popular antiaging treatments include cosmetic and plastic surgeries, Botox injections, human growth hormone products, fat transfers, antiaging skin care products, diets rich in antioxidants, antiaging medications and even stem cell rejuvenation and regeneration therapies.

Facilities such as the Indus Valley Ayurveda Center in Mysore, India or the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland or Ageless Wonders Panama, in Panama, Central America are a few of the best world right facilities for age management and alternative medicine treatments that deal with  anti aging, complimentary medical practices such as Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and alternative medicine for beneficial, safe and effective results.

Other facilities such as Villa Bella in Salzburg, Germany, and the Ahalia Ayurvedic Hospital in Kerala, India take natural therapies and holistic healing to new horizons when it comes to anti aging and the benefits of long-term effects and lifestyles.
